Ideal Concord WCF Boiler Timer control replacement

Hi

I have a Concord WCF boiler with a timer control unit built-in.

This timer has recently stopped turning although the switches still work so the heater/water can still be switched on and off manually,

Could someone advise the best replacement control unit for this boiler?

I spoke to someone at Ideal who said any analogue timer unit would do,

Siemens RWB 2 is a basic 2 Ch Analogue programmer which is perfectly adequate for your needs

Would this be any easy job to fit or require an electrician?

Is it just a case of swapping the units & wiring etc?
