Ideal Europa 228 no hot water

We are having problems with the hot water, basically the c/h works fine and hot water operates when c/h is on but the boiler wont ignite itself when tap is turned on when only hot water is required

Anyone give us any ideas??

Also just noticed that there is a very slight leak at the bypass pipe at the back of the diverter valve, would this be the cause of no hot water?
