unplug the purple cable ribbon from both ends onthen replug back on . do this 10 times for both ends. they start to corrode and make poor contact. make sure you also turn the power off at the fused spur and not the front switch. 50/50 chance this could be the fault. But also check that this cable hasn't cracked with a continunity check across each pin
