ideal icos he 15 boiler, no water going from sump to drain

Hi,
my boiler had the fault code "flashing" L-F,
the problem was a blocked drain below the second "s" trap.
i have cleaned and checked everything,
water flows from the sump through the 2 "s"traps ,
and the boiler appears to be working fine,
no fault codes,
however, the secondary "s" trap is not filling and emptying water as it should.
i have checked and there is no water is present in the sump to drain.
obviously something is not quite right....
but what?
any advice/suggestions as to what to check?

What are you going on about secondary traps?


Stop fiddling with the boiler. Call a professional.

Until the first air break you are technically working in the boiler flue system.

If you don't know what all these bits do, you are merely confirming that you are not competent to be touching it.

2 traps will cause an airlock in the pipe work creating a back pressure which if left unfixed or fixed wrongly could lead to a break in the space time continuum and the end of all mankind.
Leave it alone.
