Hello, we moved house recently, the new house has an Ideal C35 combi boiler that is approx. 3 years old.

It works well, except that DHW will not come on unless the hot tap is fully opened. We have good water pressure/volume, and the issue is the same at the kitchen or bathroom tap, so we waste a lot of water just trying to get it to run warm for hand washing etc.

Is it likely to be a faulty sensor, or something incorrectly adjusted?

Thanks.

same problem... if you can open the front and check the sensor on top of the flow cartridge (all in here http://idealboilers.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2013/08/Independent+-Installation-Manual.pdf) if its flashing led red and not on solid then the cartridge is more than likely shot a new one will cost about 20 quid... if its no led it could well be the sensor... i just replaced my cartridge and all working great.... if you want feel free to email me and ill go through it [email protected]

Thanks for that, I have the same manual, seeing that it involves disturbing the casing seal I will give it a miss and get a gas fitter in, it's good to know the parts involved though and the costs, thanks.
