Hi all , went to look at a dead isar today , power is ok into the boiler , fuse on circuit board ok but the boiler is completly dead , checked the main switch works ok but there is nothing on the display panel and it does absolutly nothing , so it looks like the pcb has gone , is this a common fault on these wonderfull isar boilers ????????? ( waiting for lots of coments on how c**p they are ) Plus there are two pcbs how can I check which has gone ???

it's usually the main board but if the fan has blown it you'll need a new fan too.

I have only ever had to replace the facia PCB when it has been destroyed by the primary flue seal failure.
so as long as there is no evidence of water damage on it I would concur with danger that its the main PCB
