Hi im a gas fitter who does a lot of breakdown work for linden homes.
I have now been called out several times to one property who has a loud noise coming from there boiler when it fires for hot water.
It is a loud noise which sounds like a engine.
I and ideal have cleaned the s trap checked the condence for blockage.
Cleaned the sump.
Checked the Flu
Changed the flue gaskets as one had solvent weld on and the other has perrished, after doing these works the noise went away but 40 mins later the customer called to say the noise was now louder does anyone have any ideas?
I have already changed two ideal istors on this site, i know they are **** but thats what im stuck with.
