If I put my hand under my hot taps in my house, the hot water runs hot then cold then hot then cold....and so on. I also have a thermostatic shower and that is turned up to the maximum temperature and its just hot enough. As before now, if it was turned up it would fry you alive. The shower also goes hot then cold then hot then cold..... and so on. If anyone could diagnose the problem I would be more than greatful.

Will that be the heating side of the heat exchanger, or the domestic hot side of things, that is blocked ?
