Had an issue for a while with our boiler (Ideal mini HE C24). DHW never fires, we have to turn on the heating, make sure boiler is lit and then turn on the tap.
When we try without the heating on first, the boiler pumps fine, but the green light continually flashes at a fast pace until the hot water is turned off. I have read that this is an igniter PCB error. I have had that part of the boiler to bits and there appears to be several burnt out resistors, would it be possible to replace them or is it a complete new board needed?
Also, i have cleaned the main Heat Exchanger (What a t**t that was to get out!!) and the hot water started to run very hot, so that issue was solved, however still no firing.
