Well in summary:

1) Bled a radiator last night, pressure dropped to around 0.5 bar from 1 bar.

2) Topped it back up to 1.6 bar.

3) Heating worked ok I think last night.

4) Woke up this morning and turned the heating on. Boiler fired up ok and got lukewarm radiators after a couple of minutes but then the burner light went out. With water, I got about 2 seconds of hot water before the burner turns off.

At the moment the boiler is responding to the thermostat ok and sounds like it's switching on, but the burner light doesn't come on and I have no heating or hot water.
I did a search and couldn't find any answers, would really appreciate any help if it's out there?

This is one of the many times where I can say that bleeding has created the problem.

The boiler has a low pressure switch and if the system water is a bit dirty they can get blocked. They usually right themselves after a few hours.

If it is the LP switch then there is an orange light which comes on. But the light is not brought out to the outside but can still be seen in a dark room looking up from underneath on the right hand side.
