I hope this is in the right place, I was just after some opinions on costs.
I am presently planning at extension to my property as shown in the two photos below, but this will probably be a two stage process.
The first stage will be to just alter the roof from hips to gables, a neighbour has the style house and has done one side of his for around £12k. He did a lot of work himself. So my query is would a hip to gable conversion be possible for around 25k to 30k?
I know its a how long is a piece of string question, I just wanted to know what people thought.
Existing property
Planned property - Fist stage is ignoring the extension out the back and just converting the roof.
