Identify floor type/coating

Can anyone identify this coating?

The floor I thought was wood, possibly chipboard underneath as that is used on the upstairs floor but then with some sort of coating. However, it feels solid and is cold to the touch, like concrete.

House built in 1984 and 99% sure this was as part of the build.

Looks like asphalt

It does indeed, but it doesn't feel like it. It's hard, sort of epoxy like.
