Hi everyone,

I am having trouble identifying a fitting on my hot water system

I think it's a Solder Ring Reduced Tee 22 x 15 x 22mm but I can't work out what the knurled part at the top is (it's the 15mm part) - my mate reckons its a vent for air in the hot water system.

It's fitted just on the exit of the cylinder on the hot water return leg.

My system is an unvented system, hot water feeds the cylinder and the central heating.

I haven't seen any similar fittings I could replace it with as all other 15mm look very or different and I'm not sure the system needs it???

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Thanks for the help guys!

Denso I take it the vent on the link is just soldered on to the 15mm reducer?

Thanks.
