Hi,

We are in the process of removing a conventional gas central heating system (i'm not touching the boiler btw). The hot water supply from the water cylinder is piped in 22mm which then runs through into the bathroom into the bath hot tap. A reducing tee comes off at 15mm for the basin and kitchen plumbing is also in 15mm.

Question. The hot water out (DHW) from a Worcester Greenstar 30 CDi specifies that it should be 15mm. Will all the 22mm piping have to be removed or is it a matter of reducing the 22mm down?

Regards

Stu

It would be better in 15mm, depends how difficult you think it will be.

Save your self a few seconds on each draw off if in 15mm.

Thanks for the reply Gasman,

Bit of a nightmare to change really as it means ripping up the tiled floor in the bathroom. Were only really talking a run of 2.5m in 22mm to the bath. The reducer can be fitted approx 2m from the DHW outlet.

What do you think?

Cheers

Stu :D
