Identifying correct intercom handset replacement, Acet 702

The audio of my intercom handset has stopped working, so I'm hoping I could get some help with identifying a compatible replacement.

I can see this one is an Acet but I couldn't see a model number, after googling I believe it's an Acet 702. Any thoughts?

Try ....intercoms r us ....handset finder section a really good site to find replacement handsets for older systems ....that looks like a 2 wire unit ....are you sure it’s your handset and not the external speech unit ? My money is on the speech unit

Hmm, how can I test to see if it's the external speech unit or a problem with my handset? I can think of one way of testing it - seeing if a new handset solves the problem! No one else in the block is having problems, although a couple of months ago the external unit started making a lot of feedback noises but that was fixed by the building manager, I don't know if the things are related. Could the wiring to my handset have been affected then I wonder?

Intercoms r us have got back to me to say I can replace it with a 22220 2 wire handset.

I would ask someone if the intercom is definitely working ...
