ikea underverk extractor issues

Hi All,

I have an issue with a
ikea underverk extractor.
We are running it with no carbon filters as it is extracting through ducting to outside.
It doesn’t seem to be extracting smoke and steam well at all.
At the wall vent on the outside of the house there is a really strong blast of air coming out but it doesn’t seem to be picking up the smoke and steam from the hob.
Any ideas?

Not sure if it is faulty or just not very good.

Probably so, apparently it’s made by whirlpool it cost £300. Pretty unimpressed. It’s hard to say if it’s faulty or just rubbish. Any ideas?
