I do but my circumstances have changed.
Im trying to justify buying a new van. More so what van.

Can't disagree with that ................. plus this useless Government will probably change its mind a few times in the next 2.5 years too

If I do that Ill need to buy a new car. The Honda is old and jucy.
If you buy an electric van, once the tools go in you will loose millage.

Who are you trying to convince - yourself?
Well you say Mrs Bod doesn’t drive and you have a van to use for your daily trip to work so how many miles per year do you drive in the car? Do you really need to buy a new car/van when you already have a serviceable van and you want to save a few quid on fuel for a car that’s hardly used? So what if the Honda is old, I’ve never seen you say you have had any problems with it. Are you hankering for something new because you are ashamed/embarrassed of what you have outside your house or have you got a lump of money burning a hole in your pocket?
Save your money, put it away in an interest paying instant access account or buy some premium bonds and just wait until you need a new vehicle. That’s need, not want. Want is when you can afford it with plenty left over for essentials/emergencies.

I get what Mottie is saying. And I know he tells it with a good

But without going into the nitty gritty of my life I need a reliable van that will last me for the next 10 years. In 5 years I might be in a position to sell and buy again but ultimately I need to have something that will last 10 years.
I dont need two vehicles, and the running costs of two vehicles.
Just a one van fits all. Its my central hub. My Office, my little comfort teddy bear ❄.
● To and from school (Job)
○ All my keys in one place
● ALL the tools for my plumbing business.
● A designated place for my yoga matt.
● Big enough for the family and dogs (6 seats)
● Something capable of running my daughter all over Essex for her football.
My eldest is 17 next year. Buying her a small easy to drive car will in turn help me.
•She can take Mrs Bod shopping.
•Drive my youngest to & from wherever
•Drive to her new school (next town)
•Gym
•It will help her get a job and be independent.
All this will help me and take a load off me as Mrs Bod will simply not Drive.
The Honda has been a fantastic car. Now things are starting to go wrong, and too big for her to drive.
My 12 year old Movano is still worth spending money on its auto and still a great drive.
My mate will have this. He deserves my loyalty. He was the Man when I was in hospital with my Cancer, my Pneumonia, my Jaundice. He was there for my family when I was yellow, when I had tubes coming out of my body.
I told everyone about his loyalty when I spoke at my dad's Funeral.
Financialy its good for him and good for me. We work on a back scratching system.
Ive made a lot of poo choices in life. Its essential this one doesn't smell.

Apart from something like a converted minibus, I honestly don’t think you’ll find a vehicle that you can carry ALL your plumbing tools as well as a family of 5 and two dogs around in.
