Yes another powermax problem!
Got a powermax 155 at first it stopped working with just the power light showing and lcd showing normal. Have had a friend look at it. he said contact a profesional corgi engineer. So contacted a company out of the yellow pages. Not sure weather you can mention company names R.F.
He had a look and spent 15mins on it saying there was no part numbers on the equipment parts. Look enough he did not charge for call out thank god. after he had gone I had a look myself because I'm experienced in electronics with my job. Found that the trip switch had gone which is a little brown circle that sticks out. Took me a while looking for that.
The heating all fired up after pressing it and returning the power to which I turned off for safety purposes of cause. Also it has a leak on the mix valve which is coming out of the screw of the plastic knob. Which I thought could be shorting something out. But checked the terminals to the one of two pumps underneath which were bone dry. So as well as this part which needs replacing the heating continues to cut out when it feels like from 5 mins to a full day. Does anyone know of a experienced heating engineer in Liverpool/Merseyside region who will look at this. Or anyone got any ideas. p.s. Just turned it off because it sounded a bit noisey than usuall and it was causing interference on my pc speakers which has never happened before!
