Hello,
I have just changed an immersion heater element. It's an 11 inch one that goes in the bottom of the cylinder. All went to plan until i filled it back up.
Its dripping quite a lot. I have used the supplied gasket that comes with the element and i didn't over tighten it (although i did it tighter and tighter to try and stop it leaking) I still can't stop it so have had to drain it down again.
Can anyone help. Is there a sealant i can use on it? I have been told that the white tape is a bad idea on elements!
Any help would be great.
Thanks Chad
