so can you still buy adaptors for this size as I want to connect new 10mm pipe to the existing microbore as the pipes wont reach the new location.?

Try BES. Imperial pipes are used for refrigeration, so you should be able to get any size of fitting.

any idea where I can source this copper tape Tony? , is it cheaper than a ¾ olive?
