Hi all, some advice please, my sister in law complained recently that there was no hot water coming out of her kitchen mixer tap, and sure enough there was not, no reason for it at all, i assumed and wrongly that it was a problem with the cartridge in the kitchen mixer, fitted nice new mixer, and turned the water back on alas again no hot water, the problem being is there is a feed tank in the loft and the 22 mm feed to the taps goes along the joists in the loft, the big and it is big header tank is not more that about 18 inches above this 22 mm pipe, my reckoning is that the static head of water is not good enought, (she complained in the past of the the shower mixer not being good enough and a pump was fitted,
my question is this
what are the options for her
1. raise the height of the header tank could only increase by about 3 ft or so or more like
how about this is there a means to fit a pump actuated by flow on the primaqry feed to the hot water taps
any ideas guys
kindest regards Dave
