is it just me or are there others readers of DIYnot infuriated by the over use of the phrase "IN TERMS OF"?
All Politicians, Commentators, Presenters, Interviewers, Interviewees etc use the Term endlessly and usually in inappropriate situations.
DO they think it makes them appear intelligent?
It is increasingly being over used when there is no need or reason for it.
I watched a presenter use the phrase four times in one sentence last week.
Watching TV presentations, the phrase is used incessantly and usually in a grammatically incorrect situation.
Another annoying habit of a lot of presenters and politicians which is on the increase is the unending use of unnecessary Hand Gestures, waving their hand around emphasising almost every syllable. It is unnecessary and distracting in the extreme.
Or maybe it is just me ???
