Indesit 1400 - No Spin Cycle and not taking powder

Hi,

My Indesit 1400 works fine until it gets to the spin cycle - it just keeps rotating the drum slowley and never starts the spin.

It also does not seem to be taking the wash powder during the cycle.

I've cycled the power a few time and it is still the same - any ideas?
