I have an Indesit DIF04 integrated washing machine. It keeps turning itself on & off beeping every time it changes. If the door is shut when it beeps to on it will start the machine. Any ideas what the problem could be?
Definately a washing machine? Or is it a dishwasher?

With the door open and powered on - what happens?
With the door closed and powered on - what happens?
With the door closed, a programme selected (does it make a difference as to which programme is selected?) and started - what happens?
What used to happen when you powered on before starting a programme?
It's a dishwasher, defo an integrated dishwasher - Indesit DIF04. Sorry my mistake.
Door open or door closed, machine turns on & off with a beep when not in use.
If machine is off and you select a programme & close the door it will run as it should and complete the cycle, it does not seem to matter which programme.
Machine was working as it should until approx 2 or 3 weeks ago.
