Our indesit machine has just started playing up. We select the programme and the water starts to come into the drum and then it stops. If we try to move the dial on its just clicks all the way round the dial until it is back at the programme we originally selected. To drain the drum we have to turn it off, then select the drain programme and turn it back on again. We've noticed that the on/off light is flashing differently than normal and think this could be an error code. It flashes once after we turn it on, then three times rapidly (which is different than usual) and once again. If anyone could give us an idea of what the problem could be we'd be really grateful.
