Indesit W123 selector turning costant

Hello group, my Mothers Indesit W123 washing machine is playing up. After the programme has been selected it runs normal, but at the end of the cycle the dial clicks round continuously. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry group, should have searched before posting. I think the problem could be a blocked water pump, as described in another thread.
