Whenever we put the washing machine onto any wash cycle the programmer stays there and does not move onto the rinse or spin cycles. The machine washes OK but the programmer has to be manualy moved on to complete the full wash cycle. Once you manually move it onto a rinse cycle it completes as normal. I had this same problem approx 12 months ago and a new heater element solved it. I assummed I had the same fault, purchased a new element but the fault remains. Help please!!
