Indesit wd12s No Hot water?

I don't seem to be getting hot water.... Infact I don't think I ever have.

Pipes working fine etc.

Is the Hot or Cold water supposed to fill first? The cold fills first on mine. I placed the hot water pipe on the cold water inlet on the washing machine, and it pulled hot water through it, I then turned off the washing machine in case it could damage it? Would swapping the pipes over damage it at all, or fix it?

Any help much appreciated!

It's a washer/dryer by the way.

cold comes in first

sounds like the hot inlet valve is faulty. Very easy and cheap to fix yourself
