Indesit WIXL 143 start/stop

Hi,I have a Indesit WIXL 143UK if you put it on a wash ,and press the "on" button you can hear the inlet valve opening for about a second but it closes immediately.Approximately 1 minute later it tries again and does the same.
The fliter/drain are free and drum is free to spin.I have took off the brushes which had about 10mm left on them(maybe less)i am renewing these anyway.
Could this be an inlet valve problem.???
The trouble is when i take the lid off you can here the coil energising and opening for a short time.

I havnt had a inlet valve snag before.

Help appreciated everyone if you can help me solve this one.!!!

Brushes are well worn that's your problem change them.

Changed the brushes but the problem is still there.Ive been looking around forums and as my problem does something different everytime its turned on,It could also be the main control card/program.
Does anyone know why and how you would use one of these smart cards with the control card of the washer.???????
The parts would be 130quid so its probably better of scrapping it if i can confirm its the card/program.[/code]
