my washing machine dial continually turns round i have ten flashes as it is doing this assumed it was something to do with the pump and a blockage however the pump is running fine and i cannot find a blockage have had it in pieces and have a power supply to all relevant parts of the cycle as it is runs threw them have got frustrated and just want beat it severley now so any help before i take this step would be much appreciated

for any one else who may have this problem i have found out that it is a fault with the dial controller if you remove the covering you will see that although it is a closed unit debris still gets inside if you clean it up and spray with electrical cleaner this should cure the problem
