Accepting this might be a dumb question..
I have a home project to create two chambers that can be individually heated. I'm thinking to take apart an extension lead, cut the copper line between the live pins in the plug socket, leaving earth and neutral alone. I'd then splice the live wire between a few relays and then back to the extension lead (relays connected to an arduino that will control which socket gets turned on).
Am I creating a monster that will burn my house down..?
