Hey guys just wondering if anyone could help me!

Yesterday i removed my light bulb n some how broke off a bit of the socket that i push the 2 pin light bulb into... So as you can guess i went to replace the socket as the light bulb wouldn’t stay in the socket because the socket is broke :(.

Question - Where do i buy a new "socket" (If that is the true name of this part of the ceiling light & how do i fix it.

Thanks!!

You'll get one at B&Q, Wickes or similar. You need the same type - probably a bayonet fitting with two prongs inside. Maybe they will have the flex from the ceiling to the lampholder already attached. If so when you remove the cover on the ceiling rose check where the wires go before you undo them.
Make sure you turn off the power and don't rely on the wall switch.
