rich families that have had a big mansion in the family for centuries cant afford the IHT.

say you have a £10million pad, when you die the bill is £4million......

Isnt there a limit if you leave your property to your children One has to pass the property over to the children seven years before death to get out of IHT

I thought that was just financial gifts, rather than property. So a rich person can't just hand 10 million to their child while in hospital, or after being diagnosed, to avoid IHT
