Hello. First things first I am a registered spark and I am after some advice I am not a burgular trying it on.
I have a regular customer who has just taken tenancy in his first industrial unit.
In the unit there is a galaxy 2 panel which I am sure was monitored at some point. The telephone line to the panel has been disconnected.
The alarm has a remote keypad by the entrance which has two proximity keys when the proximity keys are held by the pad the alarm tries to arm but then asks for a 'master reset required'
Now my advice was to rip out the alarm and I would install my usual texecom choice however after doing a bit of investigation I have come to the conclusion that this Honeywell galaxy is a decent bit of kit and if possible i would like to get it up and running.
The customer is not interested in a monitoring contract, and is trying to track down the previous tennant to see if they can help. Meanwhile I am posting on here to see what our alternative options are. The only other info I have is that there is a brief message that says 'tamper 04' which flashes up for less than a second before the keypad informs of 'master reset required'
Have tried codes - 12345,112233,999999,9999,0000,000000,1234
What are our options?
