Hi every one.

I helped change a circulation pump last night.
(so wished i never) lol

been told about using something could inhibitor?

Can they still use the hot water until he gets one or does he have to leave it off until it put in?

Many thanks.

Inhibitor goes in the small tank in the loft not the large one that supplys your hot water

You CAN use the hot water as they are separate.

Do not use on a primatic cylnder which has only 1 tank to supply.

Inhibitor is a liquid chemical that you add to the circulating water. It stops the steel radiators from "rusting" away from the inside and clogging the boiler and pump with black sediment.

a day or two without inhibitor will not make the system fall apart. But add it within a week.

If the water that you drained out was black and had sediment in it, give it a clean first.

Sentinel and Fernox are two good brands.
