Hi, can anyone advise on inserting batts into the cavity where additional wall ties around windows and doors etc are less than 450mm apart vertically. On the face of it it seems that I need to cut horizontal slots into the batts and slide them sideways. Any advice appreciated.Thank you

Yes cut slits in them, shortest way you need. I'm slotting mine in after one brick course up.
