Inspection chamber cut down

I've got one of those new plastic inspection chambers for sewage in our garden. It was installed and left sitting quite high from the ground still. Any idea how I go about cutting this down and whether I need to concrete around it after?

Ah! It'll be roughly the height of the patio slab here. They left it a few inches too high. @foxhole
