Installation in gents toilets at student pub/restaraunt 2

Now the valve attached to the pipe above the urinal that opens to let water through has had the flex pulled out of it with the L & N cores exposed and when I go near it the light on the sensor flashes so there is probably exposed live cores. What if someone touches them or the wires touch the metal pipe

Should I report it? been like this for weeks.

What do you think? How will you feel if you don't and someone gets killed by it?

I'd report it to my local authority EHO if I was in your place.

(BTW - did you intend to start a new thread? Mods - perhaps you'd merge with the original?)

Might not be dangerous, most of the auto flushing devices run on batteries or via transformers now.

From a hygiene point of view report it if it's not flushing.

It all comes from an Fcu FCU-SENSOR-VALVE and wired in mains flex....

Yup, most that are fitted are done by plumbers - and they tend to fit battery operate ones.

Even the mains versions are only mains in the sensor part, and switch an ELV source to the valve.
