Hi everyone, I am about to start putting in a downstairs toilet and as it is nowhere near the soil pipe, I have to use a macerator. Can anyone tell me if I can run the discharge pipe straight down from the outlet valve so that it goes lower than the macerator and then on horizontally under the floorboards with a drop of 1cm for each 1 metre of pipework?

Thanks!

Martin

you can run the pipe vertical downwards then horizontal but you must fit a Air Admittance Valve to the heighest point near the sh*t eater.
