Installer South Manchester any recommendations?

Hi all,

I've been reading your very informative posts for a few weeks now since I decided I want to upgrade my old Gloworm Spacesaver to a combi boiler and change some of my rads/trvs. I've decided I'd like to go for a Vaillant EcoTEC 831 or 837 as these seem to be recommended for a house my size and have a Magnaclean fitted too. Anyway I was wondering if any you guys here could recommend anyone in South Manchester (Stockport and surrounding) area? I've looked at the Corgi site for local installers and it finds so many I don't really know who to go for. So I thought I'd ask here before I pick 3 out and get them to quote and eventually ask for people who they've done work for and who can recommended them.

Ask round friends and familly for personal recommmendations , I'm Corgi reg and within distance of you but would still advise to get personal recommendation

Thanks for the replies guys. Steady - I received your email and replied - check your junk mail folder it may have ended up in there. I'm in Marple - it may be a bit out of your way let me know. Tabs - I will take your advice on board although no relatives have had any such work done and the last two friends I asked told me that they fitted their own I've asked on the Marple web forum to see if anyone there has had any work done and can recommend anybody.
