Hope someone can give me some advice please. I'm installing aluminium french doors into a new opening and would like to know, should the frame and sill of the doors be resting on the concrete floor level of the room or does it need to be rebated into it to reduce the frame height and stepover clearance to the outside? What is the normal practice when installing such doors. Thanks.
