Hi I'm thinking of doing this myself and was wondering if anyone had any tips?

I'm just going to drain the system as I would for removing / installing a radiator then cut the return pipe to the boiler (identified from the manual) install and refill system.

Is that right or would there be anything special that needs to be done? Should I get in a pro to do it>

Thanks for any help.

Yeah, buy a Magnaclean instead.

Without going into alot of detail, i have to clean these things out everyday, boilerbuddys are rubbish.

No it's pretty straight forward, remember to fit service valves either side of the magnaclean.
