Hi there. Looking for a bit of advice from you pro plumbers. I'm currently installing a concealed shower valve & shower arm/ head. I've just bought the brass fitting which the chrome shower arm screws into but when I tighten it up, the shower arm outlet is approx 90 degrees off from where I want it to be. I've tried putting extra ptfe tape on the thread but it still screws right in and is not straight. I don't want to force it anymore as I'm worried I'll snap the shower arm. The only other idea I've got is to cut a few mm off the thread. What would you guys do. Any info would be great. Thanks. John.
