Installing dryback LVT in a bathroom and in a room

Hi All.

Thinking of installing LVT in a bathroom, I have screwed down 9mm ply on the floorboard. Now it needs to be levelled using a feather finish or perhaps similar product (apart from ardex feather finish, are there any other products one can use ?)

I was not sure what one can do about the corners to ensure it is water proof and to ensure that water doesnt get into the corners and leak downstairs with tiling the cement board + tiling and silicone around edges would usually ensure that water doesnt leak downstairs, not sure about LVT here.

Feather is used to smooth the joints/sunken screws, Screed like Mapei Rennivatiin can be used to level the floor.

Assuming it’s a bathroom with seperate raised shower tray or a bath so it’s just spilt moisture hitting the floor, silicone sealant will be fine to the edges.

If it’s a wet room with walk-in shower etc, then LVT isn’t suitable, you need a cap and cover safety floor installation.
