Hello there,
I am seeking advice on the correct way to wire up the Honeywell Y6630D wireless room stat. My boiler is a Potterton Kingfisher in the garage with cylinder + stat, two 2 way valves, pump, programmer and 10 way wiring block all in the airing cupboard. All wired as per 'S' plan except no room stat fitted.
My plan after to xmas is to install the already purchased Y6630D, however I am confused with the wiring diagram for the receiver unit as I was expecting it to follow the numbering convention of the wired room stat of the S plan.
I can see that I need a Live and Neutral from the 10 way to the receiver unit and then a jumper wire to bridge between the Live and A on the receiver.
My questions are: Do I now take a wire from terminal 5 of the 10 way to terminal B on the receiver? This would connect with the brown wire from the CH valve, incidentally the wire from the controller also goes to 5 instead of 4 as not having a room stat the CH valve would not open.
Will the system function correctly like this or have I missed something?
Thanks for any help offered.
