Hi Guys, im just about to start installing our kitchen, in my haste to demolish the units that were in i forgot to measure the heights they were at.

i found this plan on the net giving the measurements, just wanted to make sure they were ok, its mostly the height from the worktop to the bottom of the wall units that im more worried about, here is a pic.

fitted my kitchen last year the space i left was between top of work top to under side of unit was 4 white tiles high (6x6) hope this helps

any chance i can have your old carcases........ damn ! too late !

Never mind the kitchen .... get the garden sorted!

Way overgrown

Any way, space the wall units in whole tile units above the worktop - generally 450mm. Any higher and short people have difficulty in reaching the rice crispies on the top shelf

Also plan the sockets to work tiles too

i take it the garden banter wasn't aimed at me, ind you it is a bit of a mess lol

anyway

Jans a wee short arse so need to keep the wall units as low as possible for her wee short arms lol, read that anywhere from about 450mm - 600mm above the worktop will look fine, might try them at 450 to see how it is. what you think? to low?
