so ive looked around here and there's loads on electrics but not what i'm trying to do, and the regs seem to of changed again so i am not sure if i can self cert or need someone to come in and cert,or if i need a cert at all,
i am confident with electrics as ive enjoyed doing bits with it for years but never took it outside so looking for a little advice.
All i want to do is run a feed from the house to the top of the garden about 10 meters from the house about 16 from the the cu, i want to feed a permanent double socket(not always in use) this would feed a water feature, then sometimes for about an hour a patio heater and every now and again power tools IE. mover, circular saw jig saw etc,(patio heater and power tools would not be on at the same time) then to feed 2 small sheds with lighting 1 light each, 40-60w bulbs, was wondering can i cut into the ring in the kitchen(kitchen at the back of the house) or would i have to run from the cu? what if any rcd protection would i need if any? whats the best cable for outside? do i HAVE to bury the cable or can i clip it to the fence,
thanks for info guys, hoping to start the project on Saturday and complete in the weekend
