Going to be installing 15mm gyproc soundbloc moisture resistant tapered edge.

What tools do I need to cut the plasterboard to size, and what screws do I need to attach the plasterboard to the timber studs?

I presume I also need jointing compound and scrim for the edges. Is this also necessary where we'll be tiling? (Including mosaic tiles)?

Tiles and soundproofing are incompatible - tiles amplify sound.
Achieving even minor residential soundproofing is, in my limited experience, very difficult to achieve, no matter what materials are used.
Presuming that you intend to tile in your bathroom - then dont use any kind of plaster board in wet areas eg. over the bath/shower.

1-1/4" plaster board screws, utility knife & plaster board scrim tape (all joins must be scrimmed).
