hi all.
I going to be installing solid wood flooring soon in my living room / hallway. the house has a concrete floor which is nice and dry and in good condition.
in the hall the front door step protrudes about 2 - 3" into the room. the hall is about 1ft above ground level.
The door step gets wet when we are doing anything which make the house humid, ie cooking, running a bath, drying clothes etc. it isnt a problem at the minute as the hall is tiled, but obviously it will cause problems with wood.
does anyone have ideas what i can do. im sure its just simple condensation as it only happens when its cold out.
Thanks in advance.
