I am looking to go install insulated plasterboard to existing plaster, foam adhesive.
Due to the thickness, I will have to move the socket forward. Will I need a specific casing or just move the current metal casing forward into a whole in the plasterboard? (freshly rewired so not covered yet)
Thank you

How thick will the insulated plasterboard be?

If thick enough, it may be easier to fit new dry lining boxes. Your cut outs wont have to line up perfectly with the old metal back boxes.
